Steps

  • Unclip the front cover of the under-bench system and slide your cloth/towel under the filter.
  • Find the cold water supply tap and turn it off. Once this is done, press the cold water lever on your Billi tap and hold it down for 5 seconds to relieve the pressure.
  • Swing the filter towards you and remove it by pulling down.
  • Take your new filter and remove the black sanitary cap then use your permanent marker to write the date on the filter so you know when it was changed.
  • Push the new filter up into the filter head on an angle, with the label facing towards you, and then swing it back into place.
Warning: You must be careful when installing the new filter that you don't dislodge the mounting bracket. The filter should be firmly pushed into the bracket at an angle, and then swung down so that it's vertical.
  • Lift the cold lever on your tap to dispense cold water and slowly open your cold water supply tap so that the chill tank can refill.
  • Push the cold lever on the tap down and then lift it up again to flush more water through the system. Run until the water stops and then close the lever.
  • Check that the orange “change filter” light on the tap is now off. Wipe up any spills using your cloth/towel, and then replace the front cover.
