Uniflow 20" x 4.5" Large Carbon Block - 5 Micron

Uniflow Large Diameter 20" x 4.5" Carbon Block cartridges suits 20" Big Blue housings and offer outstanding reduction of sediment, chorine, chemical, taste & odour, as well as cyst reduction on some models.

Carbon block cartridges are manufactured from an extruded activated carbon core for excellent filtation capacity with no channelling or bypassing. These filters flow in a radial outside-to-inside direction, providing increased dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop. A pre-filtration layer reduces sediment and extends the filter life.

Fine micron ratings can be achived using carbon block technology and cyst reduction models are available in all standard sizes.
