Granular Carbon Cartridges
High capacity taste & odour correction
Carbon filter cartridges are widely used in the reduction of chlorine, chloramines, orgaincs, taste & odour and colour from water supplies in a wide range of applications.
The activation process during the manufacturing process produces a huge network of cracks and pores and creates a huge surface area. Contaminants such as chlorine are adsorbed by chemically binding the impurities to the carbon while the physical structure of the carbon traps particles matter.
Granular Activated Carbon cartridges are assembled from loosly packed granular carbon and are often used for taste and odour reduction and colour removal. Water passes through a pre-filter, then through the bed of carbon granules, and finally through a final pad filter to the outlet of the housing.
Supplied in a range of standard and large diameters, with lengths from 10" to 40", these cartridges suit standard housings supplied in Australia.
