The water will be chilled, but only a filter can improve the water quality. Many of Aquastream’s fountains include a filter as standard, and for non-filtered fountains we offer inline filtration which is designed to greatly enhance the water quality. It depends on whether you choose a water filter. Drinking water fountains often come with filtration supplied as standard, and if not, Aquastream supplies a range of high-quality filtration systems designed to ensure the water is clean, safe, and free from common contaminants and impurities. These filter systems are designed to be easily installed inside or behind the drinking fountain, guaranteeing that every sip meets the highest standards of water quality.
How often should I change the water in a drinking fountain?
There's no need to frequently change the water in a drinking fountain, as these systems are designed so that chilled water in the sealed tank is replenished as soon as water is dispensed from the bubbler or bottle filter which maintains the water’s freshness and purity. However, it is important to replace the filters as recommended, typically every 6 to 12 months depending on usage and water quality. Replacing the filters regularly ensures your fountains will continue to provide high-quality, clean drinking water. If the fountain is not used for over 2 weeks, we recommend flushing the bubbler and bottle filler tap for 2 to 3 minutes to ensure the chilled water tank is replenished with fresh water.
