Aquastream 10" x 4.5" Large Carbon Block Filter - 1 Micron

Aquastream FCB Series 10" x 4.5" Carbon Block cartridges suits 10" Big Blue housings and offer outstanding reduction of sediment, chlorine, chemicals and  taste & odour.

Carbon block cartridges are manufactured from an extruded activated carbon core for excellent filtration capacity with no channeling or bypassing. These filters flow in a radial outside-to-inside direction, providing increased dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop. A pre-filtration layer reduces sediment and extends the filter life.

Fine micron ratings can be achieved using carbon block technology for exceptional  reduction of turbidity and extra-fine sediments. Aquastream recommends the use of a 1 micron Polyspun Sediment pre-filter to extend the life of this carbon cartridge.

This cartridge size is 10" x 4.5" (248mm x 115mm) Diameter and has a micron rating of 1 micron
