The Aquastream DUO.1 Whole Home Water Filtration System is a compact treatment system which delivers excellent sediment reduction and protection from chemicals and disinfection by-products for small and medium homes requiring 30-40 L/min flow rates.

Built on the conventional 10" large format housings, this system is the workhorse in it's class, offering dual-stage high capacity protection from sediments and chemicals.

SEDIMENT & CHEMICALS PROTECTION

DUO.1 uses dual-stage filtration process to address the most important contaminants in mains water supplies - Sediment and Chemicals - including disinfection by-products.

Australian mains water is carefully monitored for compliance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) ensuring that the water is free from bacteria and within the safe health levels for heavy metals and other elements.

Our challenge is that treated water flows through vast networks of pipe before getting to our homes, often decades old, picking up unknown dirt, rust and sediments when delivered to our taps. 

SEDIMENT & DIRT CONTAMINANTS [STEP 1]

Sediments? What harm could there be in dirt? If you are lucky enough (or unlucky) to have the opportunity of looking inside a large mains water pipe, you would be impressed by the ugly buildup of scale and rust on the pipe walls.

This buildup forms over the years, mainly due to a combination of minerals and water treatment chemicals in the water, forming a thick, porous layer on the pipe walls.

The fact is that we don't really know what's down there. What we do know is that water filters catch an awful lot of dirt and sediments. We also know that it never a good idea to be drinking and cooking with unfiltered water!

CHEMICAL CONTAMINANTS [STEP 2]

Protection from chemical contaminants is possibly the main reason you are here. We agree.

While chlorine is undeniably very important to ensure our water is free from harmful bacteria, there is simply NO REASON for us to expose ourselves to these chemicals inside the home.

DUO.1 effectively removes up to 95% of chlorine from your water supply as well as disinfection by-products such as THM's (Trihalomethanes) which are found in all chlorinated water supplies.

1. Eligibility

   • Offer is available only for selected postcodes within Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney & the Toowoomba Region.

   • Aquastream reserves the right to confirm eligibility prior to booking installation.

2. Site Requirements

   • The property must have unrestricted access to the mains water supply entering the home.

   • A suitable external installation space must be available at the property.

   • Offer includes minor earthworks where necessary to access underground water pipes.

   • The offer excludes removal or reinstatement of masonry, paving, or other permanent structures that may obstruct installation access.

3. Exclusions

   • Any works outside the scope of standard installation, including but not limited to major civil works, electrical modifications, or relocation of existing infrastructure, are excluded from this offer.

4. Aquastream’s Rights

   • Aquastream reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or withdraw the Free Installation Offer where site conditions do not meet the above requirements.

5. Refunds

   • If installation cannot proceed due to site limitations or Aquastream declining the offer, the customer will be entitled to a full refund of any payments made.

6. General

   • This offer is valid for installations booked and confirmed by payment of a deposit.

   • Offer applies only to selected whole home water filtration systems as promoted.

   • This promotion cannot be combined with any other offer unless expressly stated.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Your DUO.1 Whole Home Water Filter System will require periodic maintenance to ensure optimum removal of contaminants. There are Two (2) replaceable cartridges inside DUO.1 which require periodic replacement.

Recommended Service Life:  6 Months
If you are lucky enough have a good quality water supply, you may be able to extend the service life up to 12 months.

Note: Replacement of this cartridge is required when the flow rate to your home reduces (ie. filter is blocked with dirt), or when the chemical taste and/or smell returns (ie. chemical reduction capacity is expent).

First Stage Replacement Sediment Cartridge:      Aquastream 10" Polyspun Filter Cartridge (FPS-1045-5)

Second Stage Replacement Carbon Cartridge:    Aquastream 10" Silver Carbon Block (FCB-1045-10S) 

WARRANTY

Aquastream DUO.1 water filter systems are covered by a 5 year Parts and Labour Warranty delivered by your local Aquastream Partner Plumber.

Replaceable water filter cartridges are not covered by warranty as they are a replaceable service item.
