Uniflow FCR-Series 20" x 2.5" mixed-bed deionising cartridges produce high quality 16 megohm high purity water for critical applications.

Used in laboratory and pharmaceutical and healthcare applications, FCR-Series cartridges provide a guaranteed source of pure water for rinsing, washing and testing purposes and are often used as a final polishing filter on the back of reverse osmosis systems.

Worker and Polishing Filter Setup

To ensure a constant supply of high purity water, two cartridges can be used in conjunction where the first is utilised as the 'worker' and the second as a 'polishing' position. As the 'worker' becomes expent, the 'polishing' cartridge can be moved into the 'worker' position and a new polishing cartrige installed. This method also ensures complete utilisation of the exchange capacity, lowering operating costs.
