Water Purity

The water purity produced by the Uniflow Compact Demineraliser System is depends on the flow rate, feed water quality, and the amount that the DI resin cartridges have been expended. A cartridge set will usually produce water at consistent quality, until the cartridges begin to near the point at which they are 'expended', which means that they have no more capacity remaining to remove minerals and impurities.

The below table provides the typical water purity which would be expected when filtering mains water at the system's design flow rate of 2 litres per minute:

To maintain this water quality, the system must be maintained in accordance with the Operation Manual, and the filter cartridges replaced when required. The TDS meter which comes pre-installed in the system measures in PPM. To convert between conductivity & resistivity, check out the conversion chart.
