The Aquastream DUO.2 Whole Home Rain Water Filtration System is a robust, hi-flow treatment system which delivers excellent sediment reduction as well as improvement to the taste and colour of tank water supplies.

DUO.2 uses dual-stage filtration process to address the most important contaminants in rain water supplies.
SEDIMENT & DIRT CONTAMINANTS [STEP 1]
Rainwater is typically harvested from the roofs of homes and sheds which are exposed to the the elements, catching dust, leaves and bird poop which eventually finds it's way into our storage tanks.
Reduction of dirt and sediments are taken care of in this stage of treatment using a washable pleated sediment filter cartridge which removes particles as small as 5 microns.
TASTE & COLOUR [STEP 2]
Powerful carbon filtration is used for it's excellent ability to improve taste and colour.
Plastic storage tank's are the most common type of rain water storage in Australia. If you are experiencing a 'plasticy' taste in your rain water, your poly tank is the most likly cause for this taste.
Homes with overhanging trees can often experience discoloured water from the decomposing leaf matter in the storage system and gutters. Tannins in the water supply can also cause taste issues.
Aquastream DUO.2 carbon treatment phase adsorbs these contaminants, ensuring clean, fresh water for use throughout your home.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Your DUO.2 Whole Home Water Filter System will require periodic maintenance to ensure optimum removal of contaminants. There are Two (2) replaceable cartridges inside DUO.2 which require periodic replacement.
Recommended Service Life: 6 Months
If you are lucky enough have a good quality water supply, you may be able to extend the service life up to 12 months.
Note: Replacement of this cartridge is required when the flow rate to your home reduces (ie. filter is blocked with dirt), or when the chemical taste and/or smell returns (ie. chemical reduction capacity is expent).

Second Stage Replacement Cartridge: Aquastream 20" Pleated Sediment Filter (FPP-2045-5)
WARRANTY
Aquastream DUO.2 water filter systems are covered by a 2 year Parts and Labour Warranty delivered by your local Aquastream Partner Plumber.
Replaceable water filter cartridges are not covered by warranty as they are a replaceable service item.
