Australian mains water is carefully monitored for compliance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG). However, the challenge is that this treated water flows through vast networks of old pipes before getting to our homes.
The Aquastream TRIO.2 whole-home water filtration system delivers comprehensive protection from most important contaminants in mains water supplies – sediments, chemicals and scale. This means much cleaner water from your taps.
Stage 1 – Sediments
The first stage is the removal of sediments which are picked up in the mains water supplies. This dirt is filtered out, which can only be a good thing when you think about the water you are using around your home.
Stage 2 – Chemicals
The second stage is the removal of chlorine and disinfection by-products such as Trihalomethanes (THMs) found in mains water supplies. The system effectively removes up to 95% of chemical contaminants.
Stage 3 – Scale
The third stage is the treatment of scale to make water softer, while retaining the benefits of healthy minerals. This protects pipework, tapware, glassware, appliances and hot water systems from scale damage.
With the multi-cartridge system layout, water treatment can be tailored to the local conditions and your exact needs. If you live in a location with softer water, scale protection can be replaced with chloramine protection.
