HydroSafe WRX-Series 11LPM Undersink Filtration System

The HydroSafe WRX-11 undersink rainwater filter system includes advanced cartridge filtration to remove sediments and bad taste's combined with the reliable Uniflow Ultraviolet (UV) technology for complete water disinfection.

Thanks to the compact design, the WRX-11 fits neatly under the sink and plumbs directly to the cold water line of your mixer tap. Alternatively, you may have a separate rainwater tap located on the sink which can be connected as well.

Remember, the Ultraviolet systems requires a 240VAC electrical power point, check your cupboard to make sure there is a spare point available.

 

Why Filter?

While rainwater falling from the sky is pure and safe to drink, contaminants are collected on the way to your rainwater tank such as dirt, dust, leaves and animal droppings. These contaminants collect inside the tank, a perfect environment for harmful bacteria to grow.

 

UV technology is easy to explain

Ultraviolet light is a sophisticated disinfection solution, but it doesn't require an overly technical explanation. Light of a specific wavelength is passed through the water, inactivating any pathogens that are present. Because they are inactivated, microbes can no longer multiply, which means they cant cause infection

 

Advanced multistage filtration

The WRX-11 includes multistage filtration to ensure your water tastes beautiful, as well as being safe to drink. Here's an overview of the filtration inside the Hydrosafe WRX-11

Sediment Filtration:            The 5 micron washable sediment filter removes any dirt and algae from the water.

Silver-Carbon Filtration:      This stage incorporates antibacterial carbon to improve the taste, smell and colour of the water.

Ultraviolet Disinfection:       Powerful UV disinfection to kill 99.9% of bacteria in the water supply

 

Low Maintenance

Rainwater filters require periodic cleaning and replacement to ensure your water is safe and continues to taste great. Water filters should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or when flow becomes slow or bad taste/colour return.

The UV lamp needs to be replaced every 12-months of operation to ensure your water is safe to drink.

Maintenance is simple and DIY instructions clear and easy to follow. 

 

Warranty

Every WRX-Series Filtration and UV system is covered by a 2-Year back to base warranty on the complete system, excluding the water filter cartridges, UV lamp and quartz sleeve.
