This kit includes a quality 5 micron FPP-1025-5 sediment cartridge and an advanced Uniflow Fibredyne FCM-1025-1S 1 micron silver impregnated carbon water filter cartridge.
The advanced 1 micron silver impregnated second stage filter combines the benefits of a sediment filter and a carbon block filter all into one single cartridge. This provides an impressive increase in the amount of chlorine taste & odour, and dirt holding capacity of standard carbon blocks. This cartridge also maintains a low pressure decrease throughout its entire life. An advanced post-filtration layer is fused to the media blend which stops the cartridge releasing fines. This cartridge also has great taste and odour reduction including chlorine taste and odour.
