Judo backwash filters are used to reduce course sediments from mains and rainwater supplies and ensure easy manual screen cleaning operation.

These filters are primarily used as primary stage filtration on potable and rainwater reuse filtration applications, providing the user an easy method of screen cleaning and providing upstream protection from course sediment.

Suited to treat flow rates up to 1.2 L/second (4.5 m3/Hour) and equipped with a 100 micron stainless steel screen, this model is backwashed using the rotating suction arms and dirty water is discharged directly to drain.

The Judo JFY Series is compact and can be installed vertically or horisontally to make installation easier with minimal disruption to the installation.

The clear viwing glass gives visual access to the stainless steel screen and backwash operation to ensure the screen is kept clean.
