Aquastream 20" x 4.5 Large Carbon Block Filter - 0.5 Micron (Cyst)

Aquastream FCB Series 20" x 4.5" Carbon Block cartridges suits 20" Big Blue and Big White housings and offer outstanding reduction of sediment, chlorine, chemical, taste & odour, as well as cyst reduction for cryptosporidium and giardia.

Carbon block cartridges are manufactured from an extruded activated carbon core for excellent filtration capacity with no channeling or bypassing. These filters flow in a radial outside-to-inside direction, providing increased dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop. A pre-filtration layer reduces sediment and extends the filter life.

Fine micron ratings can be achived using carbon block technology for reduction of extra-fine particles and turbidity and cysts.

Due to the fine rating of this water filter, Aquastream recommends the use of a 1 micron Sediment Filter Cartridge to extend the filter life of the carbon filter.

This filter is 20" x 4.5" (508mm x 115mm) in size and has a filtration performance of 0.5 microns (cyst rated)
