Overview

This instructional video will work for the Aquastream Quick Change Filter. If you have an Aquastream MXT Filter, please see our How To video on how to change your Aquastream MXT Filter instead.

New filters can dispense tiny bubbles in the water for a day after the changeover. These are completely normal, and the bubbles will disappear within a minute.

Please note that you should change your Aquastream Quick-Change filter every 6-12 months depending on the level of usage.

Steps

  • Find the cold water supply tap in your cupboard and turn the tap off.
  • Turn on your tap at the sink to relieve pressure and ensure that you leave the tap on.
  • Place your cloth or towel under the filter to catch any drips.
  • Unscrew your old filter a quarter-turn to the left and pull down and out of the filter head.
  • Take the blue sanitary cap off of your new filter and use your permanent marker to write the date on the filter so you know when it was changed.
  • Push the new filter up into the filter head and screw it a quarter-turn to the right so that it’s locked into place.
  • Slowly open the cold water supply tap to allow the system to flush for 1 minute. After one minute turn off the tap.
